Every ingredient is chosen with care for flavour, nutrition and inclusivity.
We never use artificial sweeteners or preservatives, preferring our bakes to be the way nature intended – pure and fresh.
Here's a closer look at the ingredients we use to make our bakes so special.
Fresh, seasonal and fully traceable
We believe that flavour starts with freshness and therefore every ingredient is chosen with care.
What we use:
- Fresh vegetables and fruits, we only use fresh produce, keeping it as seasonal as possible, supporting local growers and celebrating nature’s rhythms.
- Herbs and spices, we grind our herbs and spices fresh, just when we need them preserving their vibrant flavour and aromatic intensity.
- Edible flowers, our edible blooms come from a single trusted UK source, ensuring full traceability and safety.
Healthy oils and plant based spreads
We use only high quality, plant based oils and spreads tailored to each recipes needs.
What we use:
- Cold pressed UK rapeseed oil, locally sourced and rich in omega 3
- Cold pressed coconut oil, smooth and aromatic
- Olive oil, heart healthy and flavourful
- Red palm fruit and rapeseed blend, used sparingly for its texture
- Dairy free plant based spread, used in most bakes
- Plant butter, used in all our frostings.
Natural sweetness, thoughtfully chosen
We believe sweetness should be simple, nourishing and kind to your body.
What we use:
Plant based syrups, Our go to sweeteners are natural syrups like:
- Agave syrup, low glycaemic index and gently sweet
- Coconut blossom syrup, rich, caramel like and full of minerals
- Unrefined brown sugars, when a recipe must have sugar, we use only unrefined brown varieties, minimally processed and full of natural flavour.
Seeds, nuts and grains
We use a variety of nutrient rich seeds, nuts and wholesome grains to add texture, flavour and nourishment to our bakes.
What we use:
- Seeds, pumpkin, sunflower, chia, flax and hemp, each carefully chosen for our recipe
- Nuts, used in some bakes, but stored separately to minimise cross contamination
- Grains, mostly found in our custom flour blends, though we occasionally use whole grains for added texture.
Chocolate and cocoa
We choose chocolate ingredients that bring depth, richness and comfort to every bake, always guided by ethics, flavour and intention.
What we use:
- Dark Chocolate, luxurious, high strength and full bodied, delivering bold flavour without bitterness
- Milk Chocolate (dairy free), smooth, creamy and indulgent, crafted to be inclusive without compromise
- White Chocolate, soft, sweet and velvety, adding balance and gentle richness
- Cacao Nibs crunchy, aromatic and naturally intense, perfect for texture and depth
- Cocoa Powder, ethically sourced, deeply flavoured and essential for our signature chocolate notes.
Tea and Coffee
- Tea, we use a variety of carefully chosen artisan teas in our bakes; black, white, green and herbal blends
- Coffee, selected by strength and flavour profile to suit each bake.

We understand that allergies vary. That’s why our ingredients are stored independently and we take every precaution to prevent cross contamination so our customers can choose with confidence.
